The missions of the Protection of Childhood and Adolescence in the Drôme are: • to protect, assist and educate children, teenagers and young adults in difficulty or in danger for any reason • to aware the public opinion of the problems of these young people in order to promote their development and their social integration • to encourage their expression and facilitate their communication with their environment • to create, manage and develop the facilities and services to fulfill those missions The volunteer is the person who brings added quality to the Home’s educational programme. When he is with his group of children as they go about daily life, the volunteer is the one who will help them and play with them, who will talk to them individually and in whom the adolescents will confide, the one who takes the time and doesn’t enter into conflicts in situations in which the professional staff member has regulations that he must make the children adhere to.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

The volunteers are hosted in a separate flat, independent of the children’s living-units. The European volunteers have their rooms and their private spaces (accommodation in single rooms, bathroom, kitchen, toilets). The volunteer will take his meals with the children during the time of service. During his days off, the volunteers will take his meals at home.
