Youth 4 Youth - Environmental and social projects in Italy

The volunteer 'll work shoulder to shoulder with professional workers in the field of social animation and environmental education. He/she will be involved in two main projects for children, teenagers and families: In "Parco Ludico", during the whole period of service mainly during the week-end, he/she will: support our team to organize events,take care of the place, support and promote the events, build relationship with the young people of the locals community, propose, organize and manage workshops or event, partecipate in equipe meeting to plan and organize about Parco Ludico. In "Crazy-bosco" during the whole period of sevice and in particular during week-end, June and July, he/she will support sunday events with children and families; partecipate in residential summer camps with teenagers and families; support workers on manual activities (sometimes hard activities) for instance help building up the residencial summer camp in the wood,store and upkeep.

Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

A studio flat in Galbiate (next to Parco Ludico). Galbiate is a small village on a hill (8.500 inhabitants) with all facilities but a bite far from main cities and with few public transports. Our organization will provide all non perishable food. The volunteer will have also a food allowance (around 100€ per month) to buy soft goods. This allowance may change during residential summer camps, when volunteers will always eat with us at the camp. The volunteer will also eat with Parco Ludico's products when she works there. Volunteer Allowance: €117 for 6 months and € 122,17 for the last month

Wat leer je?

The volunteer, before starting, will attend an adequate orientation in our organization and training about our working areas; will be given a mentor and a tutor who will guide and accompany him/her during his/her whole experience. The volunteer will take part to the training organized by Liberi Sogni for his workers. Will partecipate to Training and Evaluation cycle organized by the National Agency. From May untill September will attend an italian course organized by Liberi Sogni and he/she also will partecipate to Online Linguistic Support offered by Erasmus Plus Programme.
