Amigos da Terra NGO is looking for a Portuguese volunteer in his *Environmental Education and Nature Centre* project in Spain. We have a vacancy to start in 1st February 2018 for a period of 11 months until 31th of December 2018. All the programmed activities are in relation to managing sustainability in the environment and the development of the local populations, based on endogenous resources, research, training, and the participation of the local communities. We carry out different environmental projects, so volunteers will collaborate in different actions related to the elaboration, design and execution of programs and activities, with a common base of awareness and environmental education.

Volunteers will receive the quantity of 150 € at the beginning of each month in order to take charge of their boarding on their own. In this way they have the possibility to buy what they need and to prepare their food just as they like to. The EVS volunteers will live in a flat, sharing it with other volunteers or students, in a single or double room. Furthermore the flat provides all items necessary for living: a washing machine, blankets, iron, dishes, etc.

They can attend different types of training, seminaries and conferences and they have a complete library at their disposition which they can consult for all questions concerning different environmental and leisure time activities and sociocultural instruction.

Profile of the volunteers and selection process: We are looking for volunteers with the following profile: Interest in environmental subjects Independent, flexible and good team workers. A person with iniciative to develop her own personal project With social abilities able to work with children and young people We are willing to work with any organisation.
