The Centre Social Fosséen address to kids, young people, as well as adults and families. The centre is organizing educational leisure activities, interactive projects, measures about the parenthood and events in the neighbourhood. Since some years, they are developing a media pole, including a web radio (swagfm.com), video production and the improvement of their web page. The volunteer will help with the tasks which are needed for the animation of the web radio. He/She will work with groups of young people or kids with the aim to produce documentary, sound creations or musical programming. The volunteer will be trained to radio animation’s basics and sound software. The volunteer can also propose his/her own educational/interactive projects including the young people or the kids.

Accommodation: The volunteer will be hosted in a flat rented by the hosting organisation: he/she will live together with the other EVS volunteer, with which he/she will share the kitchen, the living room and the bathroom. The room is independent. Allowance : The volunteer will receive a monthly payment for food and a pocket money.
ÞýðaÞjálfun/nám meðan á verkefninu stendur
The volunteers will participate to the 2 seminars organised by the french national agency during the first month after their arrival and after 6 months as mid term seminar. The coordinating organisation Hors Pistes will also organise some trainings in Marseille with regional EVS coordinated.
ÞýðaEiginleikar sem óskað er eftir
The volunteer needs to have a basic knowledge of French to facilitate the work with the team. Some computing skills for the realisation of the web radio would be appreciated. The project requires also a keen interest in the entertainment of young people and kids.
