International Conference “Regulatory Impact Assessment for the Young Generation”

With the conference “Regulatory Impact Assessment for the Young Generation”, the ComYC aims to bring together international actors in the field of Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for young people, create networking opportunities and encourage the debate on the importance of young people’s perspectives in the law-making process. With Austria, Flanders and Germany, representatives of three countries or regions will introduce how they implement RIA for young people and contextualise this within their country or region-specific RIA procedures. Representatives of the OECD and the German Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth will offer additional perspectives on RIA for the young generation. A fishbowl discussion will allow speakers and guests of the event to further explore the highlights and challenges in regulatory impact assessment for young people.
