Active citizens - opportunities for youth

The activity is a part of an ongoing Erasmus+ project "Promoting active citizenship through volunteering". The youth participating in the activity will be presented with the information and opportunities of the European Youth Year. They will be given some lectures on promoting active citizenship and getting involved in various community and youth activities. Volunteering activities have also been planned to engage students and they will include volunteering with animals in the community as well as manufacturing some supplies necessary for animal shelters (using the school's workshop premises).
