The European Commission's Bluebook Traineeship Scheme, Junior Professionals in Delegation (JPD) and Junior Professional Programme (JPP)
Get an insight on possibilities for young people to gain valuable experience in the European Commission, the EU Delegations, EU bodies and agencies:
• Blue Book traineeship scheme: facts and figures, application rounds, life as a trainee in Brussels, induction sessions, trainings during the traineeship, testimonials of former trainees, diversity and inclusion (trainees with a disability).
• Junior Professionals in Delegation (JPD) programme: The JPD traineeship programme offers young professionals from EU Member States practical experience in the work of the EU Delegations to foster a deeper understanding of the objectives and goals of the EU external action. This session will introduce the audience to the programme and former JPDs will share their insights.
• Junior Professional Programme (JPP): brief introduction to the professional development scheme for better integrating junior staff working at the Commission into the European civil service, by providing the necessary knowledge and skills through a comprehensive learning, development, and mobility programme. Testimonial given by former/current JP.
