DiscoverEU meetup Estonia

No: Friday, 28/07/2023 - 10:00 Līdz: Saturday, 29/07/2023 - 18:30 [CET] Centrāleiropas laiks

Estonia - the last stop during your Baltic states discovery! Also, a destination, where medieval architecture meets future technology and untouched nature is never more than minutes away.

In just 2 days, you can make the most of your time – enjoy the beach in the summer capital Pärnu, experience the scenic bogs of Soomaa National Park, arise your entrepreneurial talent in Tallinn startup community and time travel into the Unesco World Heritage 13th century Old Town. 2023 is also the official year of saunas – be prepared for moments of unexpected relaxation. This is the journey of rare emotions and endless unique photo opportunities!

FRIDAY 28th of JULY - DESIGNING IDEAS AND DISCOVERING UNTOUCHED NATURE

Our journey begins in Pärnu – a chic resort town with white sandy beaches stretching hundreds of kilometers from the bustling city centre to the countryside. We will discover Univerisity of Tartu Pärnu College where we can step into the journey of designing ideas into reality. The epic landscapes of Estonia's untouched wilderness can best be witnessed in Soomaa - a word that translates as the 'land of bogs'. This is the place where the fifth season appears.

SATURDAY, 29th of JULY - DISCOVERING TALLINN, THE CAPITAL OF ESTONIA

The day in Tallinn takes you through different eras and scenes, waiting to be discovered.

Tallinn is the best preserved medieval city in Northern Europe with its exceptionally intact 13th-century city plan. Entering the medieval city walls feels like time travel – with all the modern amenities, restaurants and the fastest free wifi.

Estonia is known as the country of startups and future technology. So join us and sparkle up your entrepreneurial talent during the workshop in Telliskivi Creative Centre. 2023 marks the official year of saunas, so be prepared for some amazing unexpected moments of tranquility never to be forgotten.

All expenses during the time of the program in Estonia (food, accommodation, transportation, activities) are covered from Erasmus+ program. Meetup is organized by Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Agency in Estonia.
