Growing up online: Youth Dialogue with EVP Henna Virkkunen

How does technology shape young people’s lives today? What opportunities does AI create and what risks need to be addressed? How can Europe make sure the digital world works better for the next generation?

For her third Youth Policy Dialogue, Executive Vice-President for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy Henna Virkkunen will meet young people and content creators from across Europe in Barcelona, in the context of the Mobile World Congress.

The Dialogue will take place at the Digital Cloud (the Mobile World Capital's stand) and will be web streamed. It will be interactive and participatory and the conversation will focus on key issues that matter to young people, including:

• online safety and wellbeing
• the impact of artificial intelligence on education, jobs and daily life
• digital opportunities, innovation and entrepreneurship
• trust, information and the future of democracy online

This event will provide young people with a platform to share their concerns, ideas and expectations about Europe’s digital future.
