Erasmus+

If your home university has an inter-institutional agreement with an Irish higher education institution, you can study or undertake a traineeship in Ireland for 2 to 12 months. Contact your home university's international office to see what agreements are in place.

Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships

An excellent opportunity for high-achieving, non-EU/EEA students. This programme awards a €10,000 stipend and a full tuition fee waiver for one year of study at a top Irish university or college.

Direct Institutional Enrollment

You can apply directly to major Irish universities and institutes of technology as a full-time international student or for a study abroad semester. Check the dedicated "International Student" portals on university websites (such as Trinity College Dublin, UCD, UCC, University of Galway, and UL) for detailed entry requirements and course lists.

ACELS - English Language Teaching

ACELS is the quality assurance body for the English language teaching sector in Ireland. The list of English language schools and organisations in Ireland recognised by ACELS is published annually. There are many schools and courses for students who want to improve their English language skills located throughout Ireland. Most are privately run and offer preparation programmes for the major English language examinations, such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge and Trinity College (London). Many can provide students with a full package of tuition, homestay accommodation and extra-curricular activities. More information
