Most placements are for 8-12 weeks during the summer, but longer-term placements are also available throughout the year.

How to apply

Once you've checked you fulfil the criteria, find your internship, register on the Internship Portal, contact your national office to inform them you have registered along with the reference number of the internship you wish to apply for. If you are a student from a NON-MEMBER country or England and Wales you can still apply for open internships using this link).

Keep in touch with your National Committee who will guide you through the process and be aware that certain fees may be required.

Detailed instructions on the whole process can be found here.

PLEASE NOTE that the deadline shown is the deadline for submitting the nomination (the complete set of required documents), NOT the deadline for applications, so please make sure you contact your national committee as soon as possible to let them know you wish to apply.

Worried about the cost? All IAESTE internships are remunerated.
