With so many international organisations offering traineeship positions for young people, why not see how you can broaden your horizons?
Traineeships are a fantastic way to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world. In the right environment, you will be offered the support you need to thrive, and never have a dull moment!
Before you apply, be aware that you will be competing with people from all over the world when submitting applications to international organisations. While this would create a diverse and enriching working environment, it will also increase competition.
Thankfully, the EU has been successful in the ongoing battle against unpaid traineeships, which you can read about here. However, unlike in the EU institutions, some traineeships opportunities may also be unpaid. This is important to check before applying as it will affect your budget going forward!
