Get rewarded with the #BeActive EU Sport Awards!

Do you have a local project or initiative that uses sport to bring people together? The #BeActive EU Sport Awards are now open, celebrating changemakers who use physical activity to promote inclusion, peace, and community spirit across Europe.

Take part by applying in one of 5 categories: 

• Physical activity: getting people active at all levels;
• Inclusion: supporting young people with fewer opportunities, minorities, or people with disabilities;
• Volunteering: honouring dedicated volunteers who keep grassroots sport alive; 
• Across generations: bringing different age groups together through sport; 
• Peace: using sport to build peace and resolve conflict.

Prizes

Each category will award three cash prizes: 

• 1st place: €15,000 
• 2nd place: €5,000 
• 3rd place: €5,000

Who can apply 

Open to individuals, informal groups, NGOs, and organisations established in any 

• EU Member State (including overseas countries and territories - OCTs), or 
  Non-EU countries that are: listed EEA countries, or countries associated with the Erasmus+ Programme (associated countries), or countries in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement, provided the agreement enters into force before grant signature.
