Ever thought about volunteering in another country, studying abroad or gaining work experience somewhere new? Throughout October, Time to Move brings free workshops, games, info sessions and contests to towns, cities and villages across Europe, as well as online.
It's your chance to find out which funded opportunities are open to you and how to get started, from people who know the answers.
This year: volunteering and solidarity
The 2026 edition focuses on volunteering. You'll also find activities on getting your first job, taking part in democracy and sustainability.
How to take part
- Find an event near you on the interactive map on the Time to Move website.
- Join the online competitions: enter the social media challenge every Friday in October on the @eurodesk Instagram or the design competition to win Eurodesk goodies and prizes such as an Interrail ticket or a Graphic tablet.
- Listen to Talkative Thursdays, the Eurodesk podcast, where guests share their volunteering stories.
- Play our online escape games and discover fun facts about Europe while having a good time.
- Share your experience and use the hashtag #TimeToMove2026.
