‘Living Without Leaving?’ is an open call exploring the right to stay, migration & belonging. Selected pieces will be touring across 4 countries and receive artist fee! Apply by 15 March.
The European Commission is calling young artists from the countries participating in the EU Strategy for Adriatic and Ionian Region to reflect on the right to stay, migration, and belonging.
Through their creative work participants are encouraged to explore their personal connections to their homeland - How does one preserve cultural heritage after years abroad? Is attachment to one’s country unbreakable?
- Who can apply? 18-35 years old emerging and established artists from the Adriatic-Ionian region
- Accepted formats: painting, ceramics, digital art, mixed media & more
- 15 selected artists will receive a 200€ artist fee
- Selected artworks will be in a touring exhibition in Belgium, Greece, Albania, and North Macedonia in 2025
- Deadline to apply: 15 March 2025
