Every year we see an increasing number of international volunteer projects, including those working with children, for example in children's homes, kindergartens or schools. How can we avoid that volunteers continue to be placed in situations that may prove harmful to children? 

What is the Child Protection Policy and why is it important? Where does the Eurodesk Network stand on this issue? How to recognise a project that could be harmful? How to raise awareness on this issue?
