Description
Mutionu Kindergarten offers a good opportunity for volunteers to help prepare children for school and in cooperation with parents to carry out a good up-bringing and education for children, taking into consideration specific features of each child, interests and principles of family education. The Kindergarrten is catering service for children in the age of 2 to 7 in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. We have 4 groups in the Kindergarten. Volunteer will assist teachers in their daily activities with the children - eating, dressing, playing etc. Volunteer will participate in all activities and can offer his/her ideas to coordinators and teachers to be creative in work. Furthermore, we offer a variety of programs for different age groups to ensure a positive experience and the proper development of each child. Service will last from September 2025 until August 2026 (12 months). Dates and duration are flexible.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay at the university dorm or shared apartment with other volunteers. There is also possibility to change the accommodation if the dorm solution is not suitable for some reason. Volunteers will receive monthly food and pocket money. All work related transport will be covered by the programme.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will receive work related trainings if it is necessary. All special techniques used with the target group will also be taught to the volunteers if they are interested in learning. Erasmus+ and ESC Agency in Estonia will organize on-arrival and mid-term trainings for volunteers.
Participant profile
Volunteer could be open minded, committed, with high sense of responsibility and fun. Basic English is needed.
