5 months voluntary project vacancy for 1 volunteer starting January 2nd. Volunteering project will conssist of your own event ideas, non - formal education lessons with local kids and youngsters in Ventspils and Ventspils district schools. Everyday work will be in Youth house - open space for youngsters from 13-30 years old to play board games, read books, hang out after school and participate in non formal education and activities. You will have a possibility to create and organize your own activities and events. You will have a creative environment to work in and you will get a chance to get to know Latvia and our culture!
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers will be assured with pocket money 5 Euros per day and money for food. Accommodations: volunteers flat is on 3rd floor of 9 floor building. The flat is shared with other EVS volunteers that are working in Ventspils Youth house. Rooms: 4 room flat, where 3 of the rooms are isolated an 1 is a living room. There is furniture in every room: a wardrobe, a bookshelf, chairs, a table and of f course a bed and everything for sleeping - pillows and blankets. Mobility: flat is located in 20 min walking distance from place of work and towns center, bus stop is 2 min walk from apartment.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will have opportunity to take part in on-arrival and mid-term training, who are organized by Latvian National agency - Jaunatnes starptautisko programmu aģentūra.
Perfil do participante
Volunteer should be age 18 - 30, from EU contry or Ukraine. Good or medium English knowledge, communicable and willing to work with people different ages. Motivated to learn new skills and be open for new learning process, preferable basic knowledge in - creating posters, writing short stories and posts, taking pictures and image processing.
