Since December 1988, at the initiative of Hakob Jambazian, the Armenian Relief Society in Germany/ NGO/ launched a series of support programs in Armenia, and on this basis began the history of Diaconia Charitable Foundation. In 2001, parallel to other projects, 78 houses were built for families with large members experiencing housing problems. The foundation staff consists of 60 people. The objective of Diaconia Charitable Fund is to help needy families and execute activities to help a person in need to meet his own demands over the course of time. The Foundation staff is familiar with English, German, Dutch and Russian languages. About the educational center: The Foundation has an educational center, where there are language courses, pastries, and sewing skills, professional and psychological trainings. Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
During their voluntary service the volunteer will live in a hostel with other volunteers, probably sharing the room with a fellow volunteer. All facilities will be provided, he/she will be provided with a bed, sheets and linen. The volunteer will receive monthly payments for personal expenses.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
The pedagogical support will be provided by the staff of Diaconia Charitable foundation. They will explain volunteer how to work with the people from vulnerable families and with the children with disabilities, how to prepare the food packages and to provide the clothes to these families.
Dalyvio profilis
The volunteer should be flexible to work in different filed, to be ready to work with the children and with the children with disabilities and people from socially vulnerable families. !!
