Completing the online application form available there is strongly recommended to take part in the selection process. The volunteer will support teachers in their daily activities within the Waldorf educational environment. Waldorf pedagogy offers a holistic approach to human development, encouraging self-education and personal growth, which can be a valuable learning experience for the volunteer. In addition, the volunteer will develop teamwork skills by collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the school community in a dynamic and responsible way. For those interested in handicrafts, the project also offers a creative environment and the opportunity to work with natural and noble materials.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
Volunteers will live in a shared flat in the city centre of Murcia with other volunteers. Each volunteer will have a private room to ensure comfort, privacy, and personal space. The coordinating organisation will cover the rent and utility bills throughout the project. In addition, the project provides food support (€184 per month), pocket money (€186 per month), local transport, medical insurance, and travel costs from the volunteer’s place of residence to Murcia and back, in accordance with the European Solidarity Corps programme rules.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
The volunteer will take part in the On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by the Spanish National Agency. These activities are an essential part of the European Solidarity Corps programme and provide participants with guidance, support, and opportunities for intercultural learning. They also offer a space to reflect on the volunteering experience, share feedback with other volunteers, and assess personal and professional development throughout the project.
Dalyvio profilis
This project is open to young people aged 18–30 who have not previously participated in a European Volunteering Service (EVS) or European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering project. Our organisation will prioritise the selection of young people with fewer opportunities. The selection of volunteers will be based on their attitude, motivation, and willingness to actively participate in the project. We particularly value candidates who show a genuine interest in the project, a strong commitment to its values, and a responsible approach to their tasks. We are looking for open-minded and motivated young people who are ready to engage in the activities and contribute positively to the team. Responsibility, initiative, and a willingness to learn will be highly appreciated. Basic knowledge of Spanish is considered an asset but is not required.
