Description
vzw Kraaienest is located in Nieuwpoort, near the Belgian Coast. 't Kraaienest offers original : sleeping accomodation and outdoor sportactivities for different kind of groups. We accommodate 2 boats and a house for groups, that are also accessible for people with disabilities.. Our aim is to give everybody the opportunity to do outdoor sports and stay in nature in a sustainable way. This is the place where the ESC volunteers give us the support to reach our objectives. An idea of your tasks: guiding sportactivities (including groups with fewer opportunities), support with the welcoming of groups in our acommodation, support with serving meals for groups, some sustainable maintenance work related to our accommodation and our activities,.. and so on. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will stay in Oostduinkerke in a chalet (6 km by bike from Kraaienest). You get a bike and a 10 turn card for the train to encourage you to explore Belgium. You will get a budget to buy and cook your own meals. During the season you can also eat meals when you help with serving them. You live at 2km from public transport (tram) and 35 km from the nearest trainstation in Ostend (which is also reachable by tram)!
Training during the activity
- different internal trainings - on arrival training from Jint (the national agency) - there are many planned moments to reflect and learn from our enthusiastic team

Age: 18 - 30 Skills: - communicative - enthusiastic. - fluent in English - teamplayer - creative - open minded - flexible - basic Microsoft Office knowledge - willing to learn (new languages) - like working with other cultures - like guiding outdoor acitivities AND/OR like supporting the bar & kitchen - able to deliver work properly and on time
