Description
The Johannes-Diakonie offers intensive in-patient care in Mannheim. These offers are aimed at people with different support needs. Up to 14 people live in the house "Ascent 1a" in the Käfertal district. The "Fritz-Salm-Strasse" Houser is also located in the Käfertal district of Mannheim.. Up to 24 people with disabilities live in this 3-storey home. Comprehensive support and needs-based assistance are provided at both locations on the basis of integration assistance. Nursing needs are also covered depending on the target group. Great emphasis is placed on individual needs and social participation. It's about close-meshed support in everyday life, which comprehensively covers the needs of all areas of life. Cooperation with clubs and other social organizations etc is also encouraged.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation is provided locally and fully paid by Johannes Diakonie Mosbach. Full board (288€) is paid monthly. Costs for a local transport ticket and for travel to Mannheim are also paid by Johannes Diakonie Mosbach
Training during the activity
Arrival and mid-term training by the National Agency. On the job training at the location as required. Events for volunteers organised by Johannes-Diakonie Mosbach.
