Description
Kongo Community Development Association [KoCDA] is a community-based organisation in West Africa, Ghana, in Kongo of the Upper East region. Together with Mondo NGO, KoCDA seeks an active individual to help drive ICT development, particularly among school children and community people in Kongo/Nabdam. The unavailability of computers means that public schools in the rural areas are taught ICT from the blackboard and posters without any real access to computers. In 2019 KoCDA with the support of the District Education Office and NGO Mondo opened a small ICT training centre in Kongo village. The work of the volunteer will be to develop and implement ICT training programmes for students, teachers, head teachers at the ICT centre. You will be given the opportunity to actively participate in the ongoing education and development projects in Kongo, including school-linking activities and educational support programmes for underprivileged children.
