Aprašymas

Volunteer will work in team with the staff of professionals and other volunteers of La Rotllana. s/he will take part in all the activities proposed in primary and secundary school, and will take part in the organization, proposals and realization of new activities open to local community, together with the team. Volunteer will also take part in communication and dissemination department. Schedule will be realized between mornings and afternoons. The program can include activities on Saturdays. Project will be done for 35h per week, normally from Mon to Fri, but sometimes the saturdays too. Volunteer will be involved in La Rotllana’ team and for every project will have a supervisor to help in the participation in every phase of the project s/he will be involved in.

Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas

Volunteer will be hosted in individual room (maybe need to share maximum one months per year) and shared flat with others volunteers. Accommodation is equipped with all needs as hot water, electricity, heating, furniture and 2 separates bathrooms. Wi-fi is available and free. Accommodation is situated in the quarter where hosting association is leading activities. At same time, has good connections by public transport (metro and bus). Tickets to public transport will be provided in case of need. Food will be provided by monthly cash and also volunteer will receive each month pocket money.

Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu

La Rotllana will organize arrival traning in the organzation, to introduce the project, community, activities and tools for methods of work. Will be provide with On Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by Spanish National Agency. Also, will be a spanish online language course (OLS) and also, in case it's needed, face-to-face spanish language course few days a week.

Dalyvio profilis

Volunteer shouldn’t have a particular qualification but must be interested to have a confront at intercultural context and with the third sector, must be motivated to engage in support of the mission of the organization (which pursues the abatement of stereotypes, racism, and social exclusion) and show an open attitude to learn especially experiential (learning by doing). We are looking for somebody with experience in volunteering in contexts of social exclusion, who really likes working with children and young people, flexible and interested in our activities.
