Asociación Mojo de Caña was founded in 2001, in Santa Brigida municipality (Gran Canaria Island,Spain). The Association consists of people that are in love with activism, oriented toward social development projects and inclusion; using arts, non-formal education, human rights based education as a motor for social change. Our main office is in Gran Canaria, but we also have delegations in La Palma island, Tenerife, Madrid and Cordoba. WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR CORDOBA! Your tasks will be: - office duties: answering emails, promoting EU projects, creating content, editing videos, helping with the organization of activities etc. - social work: helping the staff with activities involving people of all ages (local community). Volunteers will share a flat with other youngsters in the city of Cordoba. The volunteer will have a private room, and shared common areas. All costs (travel, food, local transport, health insurance) will be covered by the organization under the European Solidarity Corps framework. Only the wifi could be at the volunteer's expense when not included in the rental.

These are the following trainings you'll have to join: - Pre-departure Training: it's a training course proposed by the sending entity from the volunteer's country aiming to prepare the participant to the project. - Arrival Training: upon arrival, Mojo de Caña will provide the volunteer with basic training to promote their inclusion in local community, to know tasks, activities and context. - Compulsory National Agency's Arrival Training and Mid-term Evaluation to provide specific training for the volunteers.

WRITE TO esc.mojo@gmail.com in order to receive application form and the infopack! • Age 18-30 (no older than 30 before departure); • Young, dynamic, proactive, outgoing and participative; • Creative and willing to propose ideas; • Passionate for content creation (social media), design, communication and video-editing; • Interested in working in youth projects and be part of an organization; • Willing to work with kids/teens and/or people of all ages; • Able to work both individually and in team; • Open-minded and ready to adapt to different contexts and tasks; • If you have a basic level of Spanish or will strongly commit to learn it it will be amazing (not many people here speak English, unfortunately).
