The volunteer will work with the teachers in their daily work: participation in the pedagogical activities of the European section, discovery of European countries, help the teachers to prepare the students for their European mobility experience; present his/her country, the intra-European cultural differences... The volunteer will supportteachers in integrating ICT and social networks into their teaching methods; The volunteer will also participate in the socio-cultural activities in the school, in particular supporting green practices through workshops and events proposed by the facilitators. He/she will be encouraged to propose his/her own green projects; The volunteer will participate in informing the students about ESC and EU opportunities abroad after the diploma. The high school proposed different events to encourage the team building between students/staff. Every Tuesday, staff and students wear classic clothes of their choice.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
The volunteer will share a fully equipped flat with other ESC volunteers or young French people, 20 minutes walk from the school. Each has a private room with bathroom. The kitchen and sanitary facilities are shared. The volunteer has the possibility to rent a bicycle to get around Redon. We will pay an allowance of 7,50€/day for meals and the volunteer will be able to use the kitchen of his flat. In order to integrate with the teachers and students, the volunteer will have to have lunch a few days a week at the school restaurant. The volunteer will receive 8 € / day pocket money.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
The volunteer will benefit from French lessons for the duration of his/her stay, at the rate of 3 hours per week. These courses will be given by a local association, according to the level of French, in common with all the volunteers welcomed in Redon.
Dalyvio profilis
We would like to welcome a candidate who is motivated by working in a vocational school with teenagers aged between 15 and 20. The volunteer must be curious and open to differences, with the will to share his/her passions and hobbies. Our priority is to welcome everyone, with respect for each individual. The language of exchange with the adult team and with the students must be one of the languages taught at the school: English, Spanish, German. Some basis of French would be appreciated. The volunteer MUST AGREE ON wearing some classic clothes every Tuesday morning.
