The general framework of the volunteers' engagement will be to promote the quality leisure time of young people spreading values of volunteerism and of the EU. The volunteers will support our team in organising activities for our local Youth Center Šibenik and they will also assist the staff of our Eurodesk office, cooperating with the local educational Institutions (high schools and the college in Sibenik). In fact, one of the volunteers' tasks is to promote among young people the opportunities provided by Erasmus+/European Solidarity Corps programmes. The volunteers will also support the association in the creation of youth-friendly online content (both in our social media channels and website). The volunteers will also have the opportunity to organise their own activities according to their attitudes and learning objectives.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
The accommodation is provided by the coordinating/hosting organisation. The volunteers will be in an apartment close to the city centre and the hosting organisation office. Each volunteer will have their own room. The volunteers will receive 400 EUR per month (pocket money + food allowance).
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
The volunteers will have two training's provided by the Croatian National Agency. They will participate in the "On-arrival training" at the beginning of their arrival and a "Mid-term evaluation" around the 4th month of their project period. The accommodation and the travel expenses for the participation in both the training are covered by the National Agency.
Dalyvio profilis
This call is open to all young people aged between 18 and 30 years old. We generally look for volunteers who are dynamic, creative, sociable, patient, able to work in a team, sociable, flexible, and creative: we would like to host people with interesting hobbies, with their own ideas, and open to different cultures. However, we also look for volunteers who like social media management and graphic design (e.g. video and photo editing). Nevertheless, strong motivation, willingness to see and to do something new, curiosity about the world and other cultures are welcome :)
