We are offering long term volunteering opportunities in the city of Forlì (Italy) in different receiving organisations working with - CHILDREN - YOUTH - PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, starting from July/August or September for 11-12 months (the beginning and the duration of the project can be flexible). We are looking in total for 7 volunteers.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
The volunteers will work Monday to Friday in a total of 32-35 hours a week. They will have two consecutive days off per week (normally Saturday and Sunday) and two day holidays per month to be used according to the volunteer’s needs but always to be agreed with the supervisor. They will live in a flat with other esc volunteers and will share a double room or have a single room according to the flat where they will live.The volunteers will have a bicycle to move freely in the city.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
The volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to deal with people with disabilities, children or youth, they will be trained and will have the opportunity to experiment how to work in a team, how to organize and manage social projects, how to be active citizen. They will be offered an italian course to improve/learn the local language and will have the opportunity to attend some trainings about multiculture, volunteering, etc. and to meet other volunteers hosted in the same city or in close cities.
