An opportunity for young people aged 18 to 30 years of age who are willing to come and work with our youth service in both Navan and Trim in Co. Meath Ireland. Jobs will include: * First aid and child protection training * admin work * planning and leading youth groups *possible leader in a youth exchange in 2024 * cleaning and tidying of youth club *community garden all skills attained during your placement with us will make your possibility of employment increase
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
In country applicants can either commute from home or avail of local host family also. A bicycle will also be provided in line with green travel. All payments will be in line with Erasmus+ guidelines and requirements.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
You will have access to the same training as the paid youth work staff during your time in the project along with the opportunity to avail of any further training you require or an interested in to support you in your role as well as to increase your possibilities for future job prospects Child protection training is mandatory as is attending two weekend events with Leargas. All other training will be provided according to skills gaps.
Dalyvio profilis
Volunteer should have some youth work experience, either as a youth club member, leader or worker. This placement will be offered to young to young people with fewer opportunities due to cultural constraints, economic issues, gender and/or learning difficulties.
