Evolving Cycles is a Greek NGO, serving ecotopias, eco-conscious projects based on Permaculture and Sociocracy. Calme Garden is an Eco Cultural Community Center and Permaculture Garden in search of 2 international volunteers for 6 months. Last summer due to the devastating and widespread wildfires in Greece, Calme Garden lost part of its infrastructure and gardens. Thus, this project focuses on its Re-Generation! We will start working on an Ecosystem Regeneration Land Project, in partnership with Holly Gardner, an experienced Permaculture Ecologist, to establish a more resilient and regenerative land organism at Calme Garden! We will be also continuing the natural bulding infratsructure, running the kids Nature School, community building workshops, food foraging and processing activities & many more events and workshops, spreading environmental awareness and socio-ecological regeneration! A house with two shared rooms with two beds each, very close to the site, a bathroom, a kitchen and living room fully equipped for cooking, working online and living independently of the project at any moment. At the project venue you will be welcomed to be spending creative mopments or chilling in a friendly atmosphere where there is a living room with two bathrooms, kitchen, gadens and other facilities. We prepare, eat and process seasonal, organic, vegan food either from what the land produces or local farmers. Travel to and from the project is covered acccording to max ESC amount.

We are looking for participants with innate enthusiasm and desire to learn, interested in learning how to establish thriving fertile self-regulating gardens that work with nature, build landscapes that are water retentive, fire resilient and ecologically regenerative! The volunteers are expected to: - be open, friendly, respectful, motivated and willing to integrate; - share community, mixed housing and live a simple life; - work independently & as part of a team; - learn other languages, exchange skills & knowledge; - follow daily & weekly routines -actively participate in all activities.
