Please, read carefully our description of the project - there is information how to apply. We are looking for volunteers ready to start at least 4 months in our office in Krakow. The volunteer's tasks will be supporting the ESC coordinator with everyday tasks as well as to support coordinator of the project in Multicultural Cantre and IB Polska in Nowa Huta or to cooperate with our PR team on the social media content. The tasks will be preparing and running English classes for seniors and sometimes some activities for kids, promoting ESC during festivals and events created by our partners or local government. Sometimes we work also on weekends. We are looking for someone who would like to start the project as soon as possible and stay with us until the end of June or longer. We host already 12 volunteers from different countries.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
Volunteers stay in the flats rent by IB Polska for volunteers only. They are located in different places around the city, but always with good connection with the working place. Rooms are mostly double. There is always a common kitchen and bathroom. Volunteers get monthly cards for the public transport in Krakow. Every month we transfer pocket money (180 €) and food allowance to the volunteer's bank account. We don't provide food for volunteers.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
Volunteers are p[repared for the project by the sending organisation, which is obligatory. They get also all important information about the project and logistics from the ESC coordinator in IB Polska. During the activity volunteers participate in the trainings offered by Polish National Agency: in the beginning and in the end of the project. Every month all volunteers meet together to evaluate the project in the group and participate in the workshops connected with self-development, well-being, mental health, Polish culture and language.
Dalyvio profilis
We are looking for young people between 18 and 30 years old. Because we want to host someone as soon as possible, we don't accept people that need visas this time. We are looking for candidates ready to learn how the NGO works. They need to be flexible, open-minded and ready to work with people of different age and background. We are looking for volunteers that don't need visa, because there is no time to apply and wait for it as the project ends in the beginning of July.
