Description

Do you want to support and have a real chance in the process of facilitating the ESC project? Then this opportunity is for you. We are looking for people open to support our team and develop their leadership and facilitating skills in the International Department of Wiatrak Foundation. Some of your tasks will involve: Administrative work, Creating Social Media content, developing non-formal education activities and workshops for other volunteers, children and youth, presenting your country and culture, meeting new people, and creating unforgettable memories. You don’t have to be an expert in those areas; what we are looking for is a proactive attitude and willingness to discover new things.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in single or double rooms in a dormitory. They will share bathroom, kitchen and common areas; Volunteers will receive monthly financial allowance for food and cleaning stuff (boarding money) as well as Pocket money; Travel Cost will be reimbursed according to the Programme Guide; A card for free public transportation in Bydgoszcz will be provided by the organizers; Volunteer will be provided with Henner Insurance.

Training during the activity

Trainings of "Wiatrak" Foundation will be provided: "Wiatrak" Foundation organizes an introductory workshop for the volunteers as they arrive that includes Tour at the Foundation, Orientational information about the project (training activities, ice-breakers, presentation of the project, rules, roles), coaching for the first days of adaptation, meeting the whole team (coordinators, other volunteers, facilitators, supervisors, translators, Polish teacher, mentors etc.), City game to get to know Bydgoszcz, etc.

Participant profile

We are looking for open minded volunteers, ready to get involved in a very dynamic environment that requires flexibility and creativity, where the spirit of personal initiative is highly valued. This position also requires a good degree of responsibility and punctuality, as well as a willingness to collaborate with other team members to make the experience more fruitful. No particular experience in multimedia content creation is required, but the willingness to learn new skills and put them into practice is highly appreciated.
