Description

Globala Kronoberg is an international organization in Kronoberg, Sweden, working with European initiatives like ERASMUS+ and European Solidarity Corps. We provide mobility opportunities for young people, youth workers, and organizations. Our target groups include youngsters, youth leaders, and organizations. As a volunteer, you'll work in a small team, including volunteers, interns, project leaders, and assistants, for 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday. You'll have 2 days off per week plus 24 days off for 12 months (2 days per month). Tasks include creating promotional material, updating social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), planning local activities, writing project applications and reports, preparing presentations about ESC and international projects, documenting projects through various media, and moving furniture/appliances for volunteer accommodations. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will cook on their own and will receive food and pocket money every month. Volunteers will live in a shared house/apartment with other volunteers, students, or workers. They will have a single room and share the bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and other common areas. There is Wi-Fi in the accommodation. Training during the activity

Volunteers will participate in two trainings with the Swedish national agency, on-arrival training and mid-term training located in Stockholm. The volunteer will also learn how to drive with a trailer.

Participant profile

We are looking for someone who: – is flexible, creative, and proactive; – likes working in diverse teams and meeting new people; – is open to manual tasks and hands-on work when needed; – is willing to take initiative and develop own ideas/projects; – is interested in international projects, cultural exchange, social media, film making, and storytelling; – enjoys both office work (planning, meetings, admin) and organizing youth activities (workshops, presentations, school visits).
