On the Path to Solidarity - Seeds of Volunteering 2025
TDM 2000 ODV
CAGLIARI, Italy
Description
This project aims to create a team of volunteers who will support the organization of two international activities on youth work, volunteering, and active participation, with a special focus on rural areas. The activities will take place in November 2025 in Cagliari and partly in the rural municipalities of Nurri and Masullas, to highlight the importance of connecting urban and rural communities through youth initiatives. The events will bring together young activists, youth leaders, and youth workers from across Europe to exchange practices, explore European programs, and strengthen the role of volunteering in youth participation and local development. The volunteers will commit for 22 days, contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities. Their role will be central in supporting logistics, communication, information outreach, participant engagement, and facilitation of intercultural exchange.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The project, funded by European Commission's ESC, covers part of the travel costs (depending on the distance between the venue and the home country of the participant, following the rules of the programme), covers food, accommodation and, where relevant, local transports, and guarantees mentoring, a monthly pocket money and international medical insurance.
