Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, defend migrants' rights, and promote climate justice. The volunteer will participate in cooperation and humanitarian aid projects, supporting monitoring and evaluation activities across the organization’s various initiatives. They will help ensure compliance with the required policies, tools, and guidelines, and contribute to the design of robust monitoring systems — including the creation of formats, data sheets, and information analyses — to effectively track indicators, consolidate data, and prepare reports. The volunteer will also help develop strategies and frameworks for monitoring, evaluation, and accountability processes within the implementation of national-level projects. The work schedule is Monday to Friday.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
You will have the opportunity to live in a house with a private room, access to shared services, Wi-Fi, a mobile communication card, and the residence is close to the office with convenient access to local transportation. You will receive a monthly allowance of 607,98€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. You will also be able to interact with the communities where we carry out our projects
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
You will receive training which will cover topics such as: induction to Alianza por la Solidaridad, induction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities and rights of the organisations and of the volunteer, Youthpass, Henner insurance and SHEA. In addition You will learn about management and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation activities of projects in humanitarian and/or development NGOs, you will expand your knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, guidelines and tools for monitoring and evaluation, especially impact evaluation.
Dalyvio profilis
We are looking for a volunteer eager to learn, collaborate within a team, and adapt to the local context. You should be interested in developing your skills in monitoring and evaluation and motivated to support field activities, working closely with the team to connect the implementation of activities with their economic justification. Studies or previous experience in economic monitoring, will be considered an asset but are not required. A good level of Spanish is required . This is a volunteering opportunity open to everyone: if you are a migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic resources, or face any other challenges, don’t hesitate to apply this experience is designed to be inclusive and accessible.
