Alianza por la Solidaridad, ActionAid member, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, enhance migrants' rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Mauritania! You will have the opportunity to support a dedicated team of professionals. Your tasks will include assisting in project formulation, report preparation, and managing relevant information to support ongoing activities. You will also take part in fieldwork to collect data and help implement project actions.Additionally, you will contribute to initiatives promoting women’s rights supporting the organization and planning of strategies for rural women, providing gender-sensitive inputs, and helping to develop or review training and awareness-raising materials.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
The volunteer will share accommodation with other volunteers in a multicultural environment with access to her/ his own individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization. To cover all day-to-day costs such as food the volunteer will be provided with a monthly allowance of 569,27€. For your participation in the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. Furthermore, you will have a health insurance that will cover all your health expenses during your stay. We have built the most favourable environment to provide you with a unique stay.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
As a volunteer in Alianza you will receive training which will cover topics such as: induction to our ONG as well as an induction to the European Solidarity Corps programme. In addition, you will be trained more specifically in feminist leadership and our own working policies. In the end of your volunteering, you will know how to work in a multidisciplinary team, both on the field and in the office, as well as you will have had acquired specific training related to the projects we implement strengthening your professional profile in areas such as agro-ecology, social action or women's rights.
Dalyvio profilis
We are looking for a person eager to learn and work in a team and able to adapt to new contexts. We are looking for a person with knowledge in gender. We are looking for a motivated person who looking forward to work in the field with the beneficiary population and to contribute his/her knowledge in the implementation of projects. Experience in the project cycle would also be an advantage. French is a must and Spanish is an asset. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
