Do you want to help nature get healthy again? Our gardeners will teach you skills about the nature-friendly production of organic vegetables and fruits, soil regeneration, and nature conservation. Our site is beautifully situated beneath the Eco-Village "Lebensgarten Steyerberg". Enjoy new experiences together with other international volunteers. You can take part in facilitating summer camps for volunteers and dive deeper into innovative practices of creating healthy soil on a s organic farm that is certified under the international biocyclic vegan standard. You will gain new green skills, practice-oriented knowledge in organic agriculture and develop your social skills together with our team and in exchange with the inhabitants of the Ecovillage. You can take part in seminars and other activities like the famous summer festival and our ESC-Summercamps on our site.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
Accommodation is provided in separate rooms for each participant. Food will be provided by us. A lot of it you will nurture and harvest yourself! Usually the volunteers prepare their meals together in their communal kitchen. Being a farm under the biocyclic vegan standard participants should respect vegan and vegetarian lifestyles. Travel costs at the beginning and end of the service will be reimbursed under conditions set by the ESC-program. Additionally we provide you with the “Deutschlandticket” that enables you to explore Germany with public transport in your free time.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
TThere will be daily training in permacultural gardening practices, soil regeneration and related topics, given by skilled permacultural gardeners. In regular theory lessons this knowledge is deepened. Opportunities to take German lessons are being provided. A variety of lessons in Yoga, circle dance and a lot of other subjects is offered by members of the Ecovillage.
Dalyvio profilis
In this project applicants of an age between 18 and 30 support us for the duration of 10 to 12 months. The program period ends with May 31st, 2027. Your service has to start between May 1st and June 30th 2026. We welcome participants that have a real interest in working in and with nature to help recreating biodiverse resilient systems while producing high-quality organic vegetables. You should be ready to work in nature in every weather. Participants should value the ethics of a stockfree vegan biocyclic farm. The applicants should be fluent in the English language or have a level of at least B 1 in German. They should be open minded and ready to work and live peacefully together with people from Germany and other international volunteers.
