Description

You will take on the role of « ambassador of interculturality and European Mobility » in order to develop citizenship and cross-border mobility. The majority of the activities will be based on the principle of « information from peers ». Your activities will be coordinated by « Info Jeunes Sicoval » but you will also work with the « Living Together » program (intercultural activites). The missions will be updated and possibly completed upon arrival, taking into account your skills and desires. You will be accompanied by a tutor and other french and international volunteers. Some examples : • Testify as an ambassador of interculturality and European mobility (for kids, youngsters, and adults, in schools, high schools, or leisure centers) • Draw up specific tools to promote european and international mobility (creation of games, creation of social media contents…) • Presentation of your country and the CES project • Participate in the activities and events of Info Jeunes Sicoval

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will be reimbursed on a base of a budget depending on your means of transportation and the country you are traveling from (from 275€ for round trip.) We strongly encourage green travel (avoiding using the airplane). You will get, each month, money for your food (310€) and pocket money (240€), transferred to your bank account at the end of the month you have just done. You will be covered by Henner insurance scheme from the European Commission You will live in Toulouse in a students residence. A card to use the tramways and buses of Toulouse and surroundings

Training during the activity

The French ESC Agency organizes a seminar for about a week, with other ESC volunteers in France. All expenses are fully covered and you will have the possibility to take part in French classes at the beginning of your volunteering.

Participant profile

We are looking for a volunteer (aged 18-30) with • Some interest in information and communication • An ability to reach out to others • A taste for teamwork • A creative spirit and knowledge of internet tools Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
