Description
The Foundation operates Impact Hub Budapest, a co-working space supporting social enterprises, sustainability, and social innovation in Hungary. We aim to strengthen social entrepreneurship, education, and intercultural cooperation. The ESC volunteer will support space management and communications planning. Space-related tasks include assisting with space planning (ie: space functions, interior design, community events) as well as daily operations (ie: welcoming members and visitors, supporting event set-ups and contributing ideas to improve community experience). Communication tasks focus on research and planning, including supporting communication strategies, marketing and sales, researching good practices and developing communication plans and content ideas. Social media management or posting can be an option, certainly not a must. The volunteer will gain an international perspective, opportunities for networking, and insight into our daily operations.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The accommodation is a shared apartment with having their own room, shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen (including equipment).
Participant profile
We are looking for someone who believes like us in inclusion, diversity and non-discrimination; motivated and dedicated person. Socially easy going - easy to adjust. We do not have any requirement for knowledge, experience in social entrepreneurship or similar, only one condition is ability to communicate in English. Knowledge of Hungarian is an asset.
