This project focuses on developing environmental awareness, protection, and action in the Hatay region while continuously engaging international exchange and communication to work together. Since the earthquake in 2023, we have been working continuously in Hatay and are closely connected with the local communities. The current vision for the project trail prioritizes protecting nature and increasing education and partnering to these shared goals. It promotes sustainable tourism and supports the region during a time of economic and social recovery. Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
Food & Accomodation is included. For off days & travel days - pocket money for food will be provided. We will mostly use the public transport system in Hatay.
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
Training will take place throughout the project in a practical and hands-on way. In Nature, participants will be introduced to adventure learning, learning through real experiences in nature, teamwork, and reflection. In addition, the project offers strong opportunities for cultural exchange. Participants will live close to and within the local community, sharing daily life, stories, and experiences. This creates space for mutual learning, open dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the real life in Hatay.
Dalyvio profilis
We are looking for open-minded participants who are motivated, and interested in connecting with local communities and who are not afraid to also use their hands in physical work. No specific background or experience is required. Participants should enjoy spending time outdoors and working in a group. An interest in nature, cultural exchange, and community life is important. Basic english language is neccessary. Turkish or Arabic is helpfull of course, but not necessary.
