We are looking for a volunteer URGENTLY, starting March/April, working with us for 6 months. Unfortunately, because of the short period, we cannot consider candidates who require a visa, i.e. outside EU. We hope to advertise for another project shortly, open to non-EU applicants. Unique project, situated in rural Northwest Ireland, focused on climate action projects, working with local young people. Project Aim: With the support of ESC volunteers and partner organisations, to animate climate action locally, regionally, nationally and internationally through schools programmes , climate dialogue initiatives, digital platforms and civic engagement. Also focus on communications - website, blogs, social media etc. to disseminate our work. We are expecting to start an Erasmus+ project with schools shortly and volunteers will play a big role in planning and preparation of this project. During the project, volunteers will get many opportunities to participate in Irish cultural events
Cazare, hrană și transport
Sharing accommodation with three other volunteers, bedroom each, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room. All bills paid. Lovely chalet on lakeside of quaint village in Leitrim. Generous food allowance, pocket money. Car is provided for the volunteers, fuel allowance paid. National bus and train routes accessible. Work premises is community centre with kitchen facilities as well as offices and meeting rooms.
