CONCF-23503-ESC - BALLS AND WALLS
ASSOCIATION CONCORDIA
Concordia Bretagne
Merleac, Franța
Descriere
Come and experience an exhilarating adventure by participating in a workcamp in the heart of Brittany! The town of Merleac welcomes you to its first international workcamp and needs your help to renovate the perimeter wall of its petanque court! You will work on rebuilding this structure, originally built during the time of the presbytery and now collapsed. This will be an opportunity for you to learn traditional masonry techniques, as well as to make unforgettable connections with young people from all over the world and warm-hearted locals who will welcome you with open arms.
Cazare, hrană și transport
You will be accommodated in tents (provided by Concordia) in the village, and a 5-minute walk from the worksite! Group life will be organized nearby in a room provided for the group. Together, you will participate in organizing group life and take turns preparing meals using products you will purchase locally. The activity leaders will have a budget to cover these expenses, but you will be responsible for preparing the menus and doing your own shopping. A vegetarian diet using local and seasonal products will be preferred, while respecting the participants' dietary requirements.
Profilul participantului
No specific skills are required to take part; all that is needed is a commitment to the project and an interest in intercultural exchange and community life. Please note we only accept applications from boys.
