The main mission of the IFME (Institut de Formation aux Métiers Éducatifs) in Nîmes is to train, support, and develop professionals who work in the social, educational, and medico-social sectors, with a strong emphasis on ethical practice, social inclusion, and professional competence and to prepare and support skilled, responsible, and socially engaged professionals who improve the lives of children, families, vulnerable individuals, and communities through high-quality education, lifelong learning, and applied expertise in social work and education. The Institut de Formation aux Métiers Educatifs (IFME) and Europe House in Nîmes (south of France), is looking for 1 volunteer for a 11 months project and will have the opportunity to support the IFME's international team in transversal missions.
Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance for food (9€ per day) and 8€ for pocket money. The volunteer will be hosted in a shared flat close to the centre, shops... The volunteer will have to take public transport to reach the hosting organization (15-20 minutes by bus). Between 285-550€ for travel costs (depending on the distance)
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
The volunteer will have the opportunity to participate into 2 seminars organized by the Agency. They will benefit from the team's support to learn how to carry out the required activities throughout their volunteer placement.
Dalyvio profilis
The next volunteer will have the opportunity to support the IFME's international team in transversal missions such as: - canvassing and developing links with his/her country of origin in order to consolidate and perpetuate partnerships with universities and social work organisations ; - promote incoming and outgoing student mobility - Monitoring and updating the International page on the school's website ; - Participating in applications for Erasmus +, the Occitanie region, the Franco-German Youth Office, etc. - Helping to organise Erasmus days and International Social Work Day ; - Run language and intercultural workshops ; - Organising international events; - Working on intercultural projects; - Assisting trainers in simulation workshops - Drawing up a practical guide to student mobility depending on the destination
