First Aid in Latvia
LATVIJAS PIRMĀS PALĪDZĪBAS VIENĪBA
Liepāja, Letonia
Descriere
The activity focuses on empowering volunteers to plan, organize, and deliver first aid education initiatives, using the skills and knowledge they gained from a prior structured first aid training from our organisation. This activity aligns with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) principles by fostering community solidarity, encouraging civic engagement, and promoting shared European values of helping and protecting others. Volunteers will individually design and implement first aid educational events, choosing specific formats such as interactive sessions for young children in kindergartens and first-grade classes, or creating digital materials for online and local community sharing. This activity emphasizes solidarity by empowering volunteers to share life-saving knowledge within their communities. Volunteers play a direct role in enhancing public health awareness and resilience by educating others on first aid, which promotes mutual care and responsibility.
