Join 3D Friends as a Volunteer in Riga (AUGUST – 31.07.2027) We are looking for motivated young people (priority age 21+) to join our team for a one-year volunteering project in Riga, Latvia. Volunteers will support youth activities, organise events, contribute to social media campaigns, and promote EU opportunities among local communities. You will work in a creative and inclusive environment with space to develop your own ideas, collaborate with local organisations, and inspire others. Our space is based in the centre of Riga, offering a supportive atmosphere and an active role in building a more inclusive society through youth work. Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas
You will be hosted in two room flat in Riga together with one more volunteers of us. You will be provided with all transport related costs to reach the working venue (Skolas iela 2) Our working venue is located in the Riga heart close to Latvian National Art museum and Art Academy More detailed information you will receive while we will have individual call, be sure to fill the form and tell us about your special needs if you have any!
Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu
We will provide you with all ncessary informaion that you should know before arriving, on the spot you will work in team, be ready to plan your time while you will be here. You will learn Latvian language in interactive non-formal education course in group as well as Basics of International sign language to be able communicate with deaf people of our community. If you will need any extra support which is connected to gaining new knowledge we are really open for communication and we will help you
Dalyvio profilis
We are looking for open-minded, creative, and responsible young people (ideally 21+) who are passionate about inclusion, community building, and youth participation. The ideal volunteer is someone who enjoys teamwork, is proactive, and ready to contribute to both local and international initiatives. An interest in social topics, communication, event organisation, or visual storytelling (e.g. social media, photography, video) is welcomed. We value individuals who are empathetic, curious to learn, and not afraid to try new things or start their own initiatives. Previous experience is not required – what matters most is motivation, willingness to grow, and readiness to support others. Volunteers should be comfortable working in a diverse environment and open to working with people from different cultural, social, or linguistic backgrounds, including the Deaf community and youth with fewer opportunities.
