Art, theatre and create new Cultural Hub - "Do It Together

Wat houdt de activiteit in?

IS ONLY 3 FREE PLACES!!! Do you have enough sitting at home? Are you interested in theatre, music and artistic environment? Do you like sew, create scenery, draw, photograph? Maybe cooking or making caffe? Are you ready to teach children art skills? Are you good in social media? Are you ready to help us create language cafe? Do you want your chance to organize your own event with a cultural association or be part in the creation of a Cultural Hub? If the answer is yes, Do It Together! is the project for you! and we can create new art center together in safety way. We have 3 volunteers BUT WE HAVE 3 FREE PLACES MORE. You can spend 6 or 12 months working with us and who want to develop and widening their interests. They don't have to have high qualifications, but they need to show that they want to learn new things and active participate in activities of our Association. We are waiting for your motivation letter, cv and photos - we would like to know you, yours hobbies, skills.

Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

The association is based in Hajnowka, a small town in Podlasie, a unique region in East Poland, surrounded the beautiful Białowieza Forest. Here, volunteers will live together in the rooms in old train station (3 single rooms, one double). Shops, supermarkets, the train station and the bus stop can be easly reached by walking. They'll receive the money for food and pocket money at the beginning of every month. The travel at the beginning and the end of the project and eventual costs for visas will be reimbursement.

Wat leer je?

Association is engaged in many artistic projects: the organization of Wertep International Theatre Festival, a small choir during and parade in Christmas period, many artistic and educational activities (school workshops, events with the local community). Volunteers will also be a part of the whole proces of the realization of "Hajnówka Centralna", a new artistic project which aims to transform the former train station into Cultural Hub. And with the association's theatre company, A3Teatr, they'll be involved from the manual process of creation of costumes and scenographies.

Wie zoeken we?

We need volunteers who are creative, dynamic, motivated and interested in different kinds of art (especially in theatre, music, new media, project manager, photography, re- and upcycling and renovation activities, bicycles and sports activities): people who can act, with manual skills, who can work with children and teenagers, etc. We are looking for a person not with high skills, but open minded, working with passion and open for new activities. Volunteers should be open to working with flexible schedules and be independent. You will have vopportunity to realize their own personal project.
