Pasākuma apraksts

During the one volunteers from Italy will stay 6 months and fulfill his/her EVS projects. The aim of the Project is to provide the participation of disabled youngsters to EVS for their social inclusion, improvement of social awareness of disabled people, improvement of their independent life skills and contribution of employment of disabled people. In the frame of the program of mobility projects, learner centred non formal education methods, presentations and visits will be conducted. The more involvement of young people to the social life, development of young people in vocational and personal bases and to be employed are expected from the young people participated to the Project . The target group of the Project is young people aged 17-30 and included at least on of the following listed groups: 1. young people who has disability 2. young people who has a disabled relative 3. young people who are working with disabled people or the families of disabled people.

Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports

Our office is in a rented apartment where is in central of our city. There is near shopping centre, bus stop and seaside. It has a kitchen, one bathroom and 4 rooms. They will also have access to all the necessary utilities within the apartments such as, television, wi-fi, a washing machine, an oven, a refrigerator etc. The apartment has an antiburglar alarm.Our office is very close to cheaper restaurant, fast food restaurants, farmer’s markets and groceries. We will go to groceries with our volunteers every mouth. We will buy their foods, drinks and other needs.

Dalībnieka profils

We would seek participants who are disabled individuals who are independent and has disabled relatives firstly. And then University students or recent graduates who are interested in work with disabled individuals and has disabled relatives. Selection criteria are; - To be between 18-30 years of age - To being able to communicate in English. - Participants with background working with people with disabilities or their families - Volunteerism.
