Wat houdt de activiteit in?

The volunteer will carry out his mission in Compañia de Maria School, Puente Genil (3 to16 y.o) https://bit.ly/3JBozik. Beautiful environment with amazing teachers and educators. Ability to take part in school life (3-16 years) to be there and support them in their educational development in order to get young people involved in public participation. The purpose of this project is for young volunteers to improve their skills, gain more training and experience and increase their social and personal skills. Main tasks will be assisting school teachers, developing Creative Activities/Workshops, Supporting Children/Youth Special Needs, Conversation assistant Workshops Languages, Dining Room Monitor Support, organising and leading outdoors activities for a summer school (June-August), playing games with kids . Regelingen voor accommodatie, eten, en vervoer

All by ESC rules. The volunteer will be hosted in a shared apartment with other volunteers (4 in total), located in the center of the town. Will have a separate bedroom, shared kitchen, living room and bathroom. The volunteer won’t need to take public transportation to move around. The volunteer will receive, monthly, an amount of money for food (160 €) per month) and pocket money (150 € per month). Puente Genil is well connected with the main cities of Andalusia, having a high speed railway line that connects with different cities of Spain.

Wat leer je?

The volunteers will have to participate on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation organised by the Spanish National Agency. The volunteers are expected to take part into a pre-departure training organized by their sending organisations before their arrival. The volunteers have access to the Online Linguistic Support during the whole duration of the project.

Wie zoeken we?

The person who liked kids/young people is open and outgoing in learning to communicate and jump into action. With the feeling that I can give something to children/young people, want to help them grow and learn for this life. Sensitive to cooperation and solidarity, curious, open to others, interest in intercultural communication and to be critical and creative in his ability to participate constructively in the life of the institution. Organizational skills, team spirit and interested in education would also be appreciated, self-reliant.Good command Spani/english apreciatted but not mandatory
