Opis aktivnosti

The project, that will star on 1/3/2023, aims to support young people in the city of Vukovar, Croatia and development of inclusive volunteering which in the area of this community is lacking and in development, compared to other types of volunteering. Therefore, PRONI will cooperate with the local stakeholders through 4 types of activities: 1) Preparing and leading different creative workshops and activities for young people in the field of art, culture, music, dance, sport, language, etc., which will offer them different learning opportunities, joyful and relax time; 2) Organizing voluntary activities in the local community, 3) Developing and participating in info and promotional activities that will promote volunteering, and 4) Developing and participating in info and promotional activities that will promote ESC. Additionally, we envisaged participation of volunteers in other PRONI's ESC and Erasmus+ activities on Croatian coast.

Smještaj, hrana i prijevoz

Selected volunteers will be accommodated in a rented flat suitable for 2 persons, near our office and vacancy place. Besides covered costs for living, each volunteer will receive monthly allowance for food in amount of 150,00 euro for buying and preparing food, as well as additional pocket money in amount set by European solidarity Corps program guide 2022 to the standards of living in Croatia which is amount of 5 euro per day.

Osposobljavanje tijekom aktivnosti

During the vacancy the volunteers will receive training in order to understand the project, organization, location, activities, etc. An additional training (on arrival and mid-term) will be provided by Croatian National Agency during vacancy in order to improve quality implementation. Also, the language course of Croatian language will be offered via EU Academy platform constantly during stay in Croatia in order to get easier involved in daily activities with the target groups, as well as with the local community. Additional training(s) will be offered according to volunteers'/project needs.

Profil sudionika

We are looking forward to host 2 volunteers up to 30 years old from one of the European countries who are open-minded, communicative and creative and have some skills in the field of work we want to work with young people. Digital skills are also welcomed. Additionally, in order to volunteer on such positions, we are looking for volunteers willing to take the initiative during volunteering, as well as with developed empathy for target groups with whom you will work.
