Building an artistic community in Chișinău, Moldova!

Pasākuma apraksts

For this long-term project (12 months), the volunteer will develop personal competences living and working in a new environment, as well as contribute to local community working on different activities, such as: - helping to organize and deliver workshops, trainings, and expositions for art students and local NGOs; - assisting artists in residency to realize their artworks; - maintaining several open and closed spaces in the city (Flat Space, Zpace) designed for hosting events of independent artists and cultural initiatives; - maintaining blogs and pages in different social networks and Oberliht's mailing list; - plan and implement their own creative ideas.

Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports

The volunteer will live in a shared apartment in Chisinau, along with other volunteers. S/he will have their own bedroom and will share the kitchen & bathroom. The project is within walking distance of the volunteer accommodation. Volunteers allowances include money for food and transportation. We will support the volunteer's language learning process and integration by providing individual conversation language courses of Russian or Romanian (30 hours) during his/her stay.

Dalībnieka profils

In regard to volunteers we don’t expect specific experience, skills or education in any particular field, but we are looking for young people who are interested in art and culture, who embrace the values we share, are motivated to work as volunteers in order to support the local community and are able to deal with challenges,, are responsible, curious, open-minded and willing to learn, and are eager to cooperate with young people from other countries.
